چکیده

The tomato is a widely cultivated and consumed vegetable globally. Comarca Lagunera an important tomato-exporting region of Mexico. Salinity abiotic factor that reduces productivity increases production costs. To advance growing period, there high demand for the sustainable seedlings. Plant-growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) are characterized by improving plant growth through different mechanisms can be option reducing misuse chemical fertilizers. importance application strains, evaluating various inoculation methods (in seed, soil, foliar spraying, root immersion), should evaluated to propose biofertilization packages in specific crop. Thus, study aimed determine effect PGPR (Bacillus paralicheniformis, Acinetobacter guillouiae, Aeromonas caviae, Pseudomonas lini) vs. nutrient solution distilled water seedlings stage saladette-type on morphophysiological variables, nitrate reductase (NR) enzyme activity, minerals via tissue analysis under greenhouse conditions. four were inoculated (inoculation sprinkling, both) conditions vivo 40 days after sowing such as seedling height; stem diameter; displaced volume; fresh dry weight matter leaves, stems, roots; leaf area; activity. showed significant results lini control, with 40% higher values, average, height, diameter, volume, root, leaf, stem. response enzymatic mineral content was variable water. Studies related promotion plants subsequent phenological stages tomato, considering selected PGPR, considered future research.

Evaluating the Effect of Cadmium on the Decline of Arizona Cypress Seedlings and the Enhancement Role of Mycorrhizal Fungus and Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria

Trees decline is a complex physiological disease that results from the interactions between several factors, one of which is heavy metal stress that ultimately leads to the death of trees. This experiment, which was conducted during 2016-2017 at the campus facility of the Department of Horticulture at Isfahan University of Technology, was conducted to investigate the effects of inoculation with...

Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria: A Critical Review

Plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) are naturally occurring soil bacteria that aggressively colonize plant roots and benefit plants by providing growth promotion. Inoculation of crop plants with certain strains of PGPR at an early stage of development improves biomass production through direct effects on root and shoots growth. Inoculation of ornamentals, forest trees, vegetables, and a...

Effects of Plant Growth-Promoting Rhizobacteria on Loblolly and Slash Pine Seedlings

Loblolly and slash pine seed were inoculated at sowing with 1 of 12 different strains of plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) in the greenhouse. Time to germination and seedling densities were determined at 21 days, and seedling biomass was measured at 12 wk after sowing. All bacterial strains significantly increased the speed of seedling emergence over nontreated pine seed. By 12 wk, ho...
